How Long Do Disposable Vapes Last?

Disposable vapes are becoming more and more popular by the day. The two market leaders are  Elf Bars and Geek Bars. There is no surprise that vaping is trending, as there are many benefits to making the change from smoking cigarettes to vaping. In this blog post, we will be answering one of the most popular and important questions that we get asked, which is ‘How Long Do Disposable Vapes Last?’. The answer is not straightforward, so read below to find out more…

Number of Puffs

The number of puffs is different between each brand of disposable vapes, and it is only a rough estimate. On average, Elf Bars have 600 puffs and Geek Bars have 550 puffs. The number of puffs is also determined by the length of the draws that you take. Geek Bars can be bought as either 1 mg (10ml) or 2 mg (20ml) of nicotine, and Elf Bars with 2 mg of nicotine. The legal amount of nicotine in e-liquids is up to 2 mg.

The more vapour you inhale, the more e-liquid that you use, therefore the vape will run out quicker. Taking shorter and more even vape draws will increase the lifetime of your vape.

Battery Life

The battery inside of a disposable vape is one of the most important factors when determining how long a disposable vape will last you. Geek Bars use a 500mAh battery. Elf Bars use a 550mAh battery. This means that Elf Bars have a better and more powerful battery, so theoretically Elf Bars should last you longer.

Unlike regular vapes, you cannot charge a disposable battery. So when the battery or e-liquid runs out, then you cannot reuse the vape pen. Usually, the e-liquid runs out before the battery if the quality of the vape pen is of high quality.

Temperature

The temperature plays an important role in how long a disposable vape lasts. Disposable vapes have a predetermined temperature. In reusable e-cigarettes, you can set the temperature yourself. The higher you set it, the sooner you will have to replace the coil. The coil is burned quickly if set to the highest temperature setting.

Frequency

How often and for how long you vape affects how long a disposable vape lasts you. If you are a heavy ex-smoker or vaper, then it might not last you as long as it would for light to moderate vapers. If you want to extend the lifetime and be able to estimate how long a disposable vape will last you, then it is good practice to get into the rhythm of vaping at similar times each day for the same duration.

Verdict

It is a difficult question to answer as the length of the time that a disposable vape will last you depends on how often you vape and the duration of your sessions. Generally, if you are a heavy smoker or vaper a disposable bar will last you between 2 to 5 days, and if you are a light to moderate smoker or vaper then a bar will last you 5+ days.
